Hot wax is a mixture of grinded resins that binds to hair, be it short, fine, long or thick, pulling it out by the roots. Our hot wax is served in pearls (small balls) for quick and easy melting. That is applied to the skin with the help of a wooden spatula or with a roll-on. Once dry, it is removed pulling it strongly. Hot wax is the most effective because the heat opens the pores in the skin and the hair comes off more easily. Despite the fact that since the appearance of laser hair removal it no longer enjoys the same popularity, hair removal continues to be the most demanded option by people who cannot or do not want to expose their skin to lasers, such as those men and women with tattoos on legs and thighs.

Our depilatory waxes are produced in three varieties of formulations, to offer a high-performance wax to the various characteristics of skins, leaving it smooth, hair and residue-free, without the use of strips. They are flexible, super-tacky waxes formulated to remain flexible while retaining a firm hold on even the shortest hairs.

STANDARD WAX

To all body parts.
Parafinas Quintanar hot depilatory wax has the peculiarity of being able to be applied at lower temperatures than the waxes normally used on the market.

This allows it to be used in delicate areas (such as the armpits) without the risk of burning. In addition, its high content of pure beeswax and natural lanolin produces a sedative effect, leaving the skin soft and silky, without suffering the typical itching effects of hot waxes.

Regarding the appearance, we have waxes in Transparent, Creamy and Metallic / Pearly colors.
- Creamy waxes ((formulated with titanium dioxide) are more selective, they “choose” hair more than skin, which is why they are said to be softer.
- While transparent or crystalline waxes have greater adhesion power and hair removal, being less selective with the skin.
- Metallic / pearl-like waxes (formulated with mica), offers a more glamorous appearance, have the property of calming action against redness in sensitive or dehydrated skin.
LOW MELTING POINT

For sensitive areas
It is a variant of the standard formulation with a lower melting point and lower viscosity, for application on smaller and more delicate body areas such as the face or groin; maintaining in its formulation the natural resins and waxes, which guarantee the care of our skin.

SYNTHETIC WAX

Hypoallergenic
Synthetic depilatory waxes are a new generation of hypoallergenic waxes for sensitive skin or skin that may become irritated by contact with pine-derived resins or natural waxes.

They are depilatory waxes formulated with synthetic resins and microcrystalline paraffins. It is an extra flexible wax, which does not break during application, suitable for removing any thickness and length of hair.

HOW TO USE IT?

Some application details.

The skin has to be clean and dry. Better results are obtained if the skin has been exfoliated the day before. The wax is heated in a container that allows the application of direct heat or in a specific appliance equipped with a thermostat that maintains the wax at a suitable temperature.

Before applying the hot and melted wax on the legs it is advisable to apply a little hot wax on the back of your hand, to check the band for temperature and to avoid burns on sensitive parts.

To apply the wax, spread with the spatula over the area to be hair removed in the direction of hair growth. The wax strip should be thin and even, leaving a small edge at the end for easier grip.

Allow the strip to dry until it is no longer sticky at touch and the thickened end lifts up easily. Tighten the skin with one hand and remove the wax with the other pulling quickly and powerful pull against the grain and parallel to the skin.
